The NYC skyline goes PINK for Teacher Appreciation Week

At EF we know a good education can change anyone, but a good teacher can change everything.

We are honored to partner with teachers and educators around the globe. Teachers at our 11 international language centers create a fun and engaging classroom environment, inspiring students of all ages to work towards fluency in a foreign language and become global citizens. Here in the US, we partner with high school teachers and university professors to provide life changing study abroad opportunities.

We would like to extend a special ‘thank you’ to teachers across the country for all the important work they do. Thank you for your passion and commitment to your students and communities. In the words of Malcome Forbes, “The purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one”. We are personally inspired by the quality educators we work with every day, knowing they are helping to open our students to the world.

In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, we are lighting the Empire State Building in EF’s signature pink on Friday, May 12, 2017. We hope all the teachers out there will get a chance to see it, either in person or on social media with #EFlovesteachers. That bright pink light will be shining in celebration of all teachers and their brilliant work.

Discover resources just for educators on EF Teacher Zone. The site features free lesson plans, travel opportunities for students and educators, and much more.
