How to Apply

We take a holistic approach to admissions, taking into account your school grades, interests and personal, academic and career goals. Your answers to our questions will help us get a good idea of what you hope to accomplish at our international high school.

  • Step 1

    Complete the Online Application

    You can complete your online application at www.ef.com/academy/onlineportal. You will be asked to provide the following information and documents:

    • Official school transcripts
    • A scan of your passport
    • An academic reference (optional)
    • Short answers to questions that ask about your academic goals and interests
    • Subject preferences


  • Step 2

    Take the Admissions Test

    During the application process, we will ask you to take an admissions test. The Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4), the preferred Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) and the TOEFL Junior test are all accepted. These tests assess your strengths and weaknesses and identify your learning preferences so that we can offer you the appropriate support and instruction to ensure you maximize your potential at our private school.

    Taking the English test if you are not a native English speaker is required. You can take the test at any time:

    Find the Perfect Pathway

    We take all elements of your application into consideration, including your goals and aspirations, when determining which program option is the ideal pathway for you at our international boarding school. An in-depth, one-on-one consultation with one of our experienced admissions consultants is a key part of this step of the application process.   • Step 4

    Apply for a Visa

    We have years of experience in helping students acquire their visas and arrive at our schools. Once you are accepted, we will work together with you and your family to arrange a student visa for the UK or US and we will help you find and book your flight.

Program Requirements

All students will be required to cope with living in a foreign country and the inevitable culture shock. As well as being able to study at the high school level through the medium of the English language.
