All year round EF students from all over the world travel to the US to experience American culture first hand and at the same time develop their English skills. A large number of these students choose to go to San Diego where they find a near-perfect climate and big city life, combined with breathtaking scenery.

The EF Host Family San Diego Program is your opportunity to welcome a student into your home and show them everyday life in San Diego with its characteristic laid back, multicultural American feel.
You deal directly with the school and EF staff, not a host family agent.
We offer full support from EF Staff and housing team 24 hours per day.

Our host families come in all shapes and sizes; single parent households, empty-nesters, couples with no children, and families with small children or with teenagers. They are expected to provide a bed, breakfast and evening meals Monday through Friday and all meals on the weekends, and, most importantly, a stable, caring environment.
