Japanese Courses in Japan

(Students and adults age 16 and older)

Our Japanese language school is in the chic Shibuya area of Tokyo. The school:

  • offers intensive and general Japanese language courses for students at any level, from beginner to nearly fluent.
  • offers special interest classes which allow students to pursue their particular interests in Japanese language or culture.

No minimum GPA required to apply!

A Day in the Life at EF Tokyo

7:00 a.m.

 おはようございます。-- wake up in Tokyo!

7:30 a.m.

 Enjoy a traditional Japanese breakfast with your host family: steamed rice, miso soup and tamagoyaki

8:15 a.m.

 Take the Tokyo Metro to school 

9:00 a.m.

 Japanese lessons

10:00 a.m.

 Conversation lab 

12:30 p.m.

 Grab a bento box lunch with friends

1:30 p.m.

 Exam preparation class

3:00 p.m.

 Shopping and coffee at the Shibuya Area

6:00 p.m.

 Return to host family for a traditional dinner such as tempura

8:00 p.m.

 Meet some friends to cheer on the Yomiuri Giants, the city’s beloved baseball team, at the Tokyo Dome
