Solo travel is the best decision you’ll ever make

Solo travel is the best decision you’ll ever make

Take the leap you won’t regret: leave the country alone. It can be a daunting task to think about stepping off the plane in an unfamiliar place with just you and your bags, but traveling independently will change your life.

Solo travel will allow you learn about what you are fully capable of while experiencing the world. You will get to do what you want, not having to worry about anyone else to accommodate. Talk about hitting all of your bucket list items and not having to sacrifice!

Where are some good locations for solo travel?

  1. Paris
Immerse yourself in this magical city- there is just so much to do! Paris has so many different areas of the city, you are bound to find places where you feel like you automatically belong. As you explore, you will meet people from around the world- join them for a coffee on a street cafe, get your portrait painted in front of the Sacre Cour, or taste some of the world’s best wine with strangers- soon to be friends.

  2. Costa Rica
If you like the great outdoors and being in a rural, small town definitely travel down to Tamarindo, Costa Rica. The locals are living that “Pura Vida” life and are extremely welcoming. One of the safest and happiest countries in the world, I recommend going here at any age and time of year.

  3. Tokyo
Walk through the middle of the busiest intersection of the world- you sure won’t feel alone here! This modern city is full of new culture and excitement. If you are worried about running out of things to do on your trip, go to Tokyo and you will be overwhelmed with a new bucket list of items to do during your solo trip. (You may have to break your one post a day Instagram rule).

  4. Munich
Lederhosen and Drirndls everywhere!! Experience traditional Bavarian culture in one of the safest cities in the world. Did you know you can go surfing in the middle of everything? With accessibility to the Alps and other cities in Germany, Munich is a hub to make a destination for your next trip.

  5. Rome
When in Rome…. travel solo and meet people by talking with your hands. How cool is that? If you like walking around a big city seeing historic sites and enjoying some of the most delicious food in the world, this is the spot for you. Live your Lizzie McGuire Movie dream!
